If you’re embarking on a weight-loss plan fast, these trusted expert tips will make it easy for you to lose the weight quickly.
9. Eat in front of mirrors and you’ll lose weight
One study found that eating in front of mirrors slashed the amount people ate by nearly one-third. Having to look yourself in the eye reflects back some of your own inner standards and goals, and reminds you of why you’re trying to lose weight in the first place.
8. You’ll lose weight and fat if you walk 45 minutes a day, not 30
The reason we’re suggesting 45 minutes instead of the typical 30 is that a Duke University study found that while 30 minutes of daily walking is enough to prevent weight gain in most relatively sedentary people, exercise beyond 30 minutes results in weight and fat loss. Burning an additional 300 calories a day with three miles of brisk walking (45 minutes should do it) could help you lose 30 pounds in a year without even changing how much you’re eating. If you ned motivation
7. After breakfast, stick to water
At breakfast, go ahead and drink orange juice. But throughout the rest of the day, focus on water instead of juice or soda.
6. Throw out your “fat” clothes for good
Once you’ve started losing weight, throw out or give away every piece of clothing that doesn’t fit, and fill your closet with a dress that shows off your favorite body part. The idea of having to buy a whole new wardrobe if you gain the weight back will serve as a strong incentive to stay fit.
5. Eat 90 percent of your meals at home
You’re more likely to eat more and eat more high-fat, high-calorie foods when you eat out than when you eat at home. Restaurants today serve such large portions that many have switched to larger plates and tables to accommodate them.
4. Spend 10 minutes a day walking up and down stairs
The Centers for Disease Control says that’s all it takes to help you shed as much as 10 pounds a year (assuming you don’t start eating more).
3. Stare at the color blue
There’s a good reason you won’t see many fast-food restaurants decorated in blue: it functions as an appetite suppressant. So serve up dinner on blue plates, dress in blue while you eat, and cover your table with a blue tablecloth. Conversely, avoid red, yellow, and orange in your dining areas. Studies find they encourage eating.
2. Avoid white (carbohydrates) foods
There is some scientific legitimacy to today’s lower-carb diets: Large amounts of simple carbohydrates from white flour and added sugar can wreak havoc on your blood sugar and lead to weight gain. While avoiding sugar, white rice, and white flour, however, you should eat plenty of whole-grain breads and brown rice.
Brush your teeth after every meal, especially dinner
That clean, minty freshness will serve as a cue to your body and brain that mealtime is over. Try these other tricks to stop eating when you’re not hungry.

Your ovaries secrete estrogen and progesterone. These 2 hormones are responsible for the development of the female body during puberty (think boob growth, your period, and the widening of your hips). Estrogen and progesterone also prep the uterus for conception and not producing enough can lead to trouble getting pregnant. Plus, your ovaries churn out your body’s supply of testosterone (albeit in smaller amounts than the estrogen), which you can thank for your sex drive.
Unlike a lot of your organs, your ovaries aren’t static in size; they actually change a lot over the course of your cycle and the course of your lifetime. Month to month, your reproductive powerhouses (which are about three to five centimeters in length normally) will fluctuate as they do their thing, releasing an egg each month. With ovulation and the likely formation of a small cyst that comes along with it, the ovary can grow a little in size
Ovulation is definitely affected by stress. When your bod is under pressure we are speaking of the serious kind that is brought on by a major life change like moving away to college or a physical change like losing a lot of weight your ovaries will stop releasing eggs. Simply put, it’s nature’s way of preventing pregnancy during times of stress.
Since ovaries play such a big role in your hormonal balance, they can be behind hormonally driven bodily issues. With certain conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome, the hormone balance of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone becomes really altered. Excess testosterone symptoms like acne, hair growth in typically male places, and weight fluctuations can be seen. Your doctor can prescribe medication that can help get this under control.
Birth control specifically estrogen and progesterone versions of the Pill can majorly reduce your risk of ovarian cancer within just a few months of starting, according to the American Cancer Society. The Pill even plays a significant role in reducing the risk in women who are carriers of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutations (which put you at higher risk for ovarian cancer). Birth control pills are extremely effective and can reduce their risk by up to 50 percent in some studies. It’s a very nice protective factor.

Changing your underwear should be part of your daily routine, even if you don’t have time to take a shower or shampoo your hair, at the very least you need changing your clothing. Are you guilty of not changing your underwear every single day? Okay, this is what can happen to you if you don’t!
Rashes :
You may break out in rashes if you don’t slip on a fresh pair of panties every single day. (Yikes!) If you have a vagina, your lady parts create a moist space. Moisture is healthy, but too much can lead to fungal and bacterial infections. Be sure to grab a new pair of undies every day to avoid too much moisture!
Weird Odors :
The vagina is known for being self-cleaning, but what most women don’t know is that it is only the vaginal canal that self-cleans. The exterior of your lady parts need to be cleaned and washed thoroughly – otherwise, it can start to smell less than beautiful down there…So, even if you bathe, changing your panties afterward is KEY.
Yeast Infections
Yeast thrives in moist surroundings and as we mentioned before: not changing your underwear, and washing and not drying, will make for an uncomfortable time. Yikes!
Chafing
Just like when your thighs rub on a hot summer day, chafing can happen to your vaginal area too. Sweating in the summer provides the moisture that irritates our skin between our thighs, and not changing your panties to a dry, clean pair can lead to vaginal redness, irritation, and if it gets worse it can peel and bleed.
Urinary Tract Infection.
(Not so) fun fact: Any dirty pair of underwear has small traces of fecal matter. This is why wearing a dirty pair for too long can spread bacteria to your poor lady parts and cause a Urinary Tract Infection.
Pubic Lice or Scabies
Last but certainly not the least disgusting effect of not changing your panties is the risk of pubic lice or scabies setting up camp. You can’t technically get pubic lice or scabies from not changing, but not changing can certainly make it worse (if that’s even possible?). Crabs like a moist, warm environment, and if you aren’t washing consistently they’ll just take over. Lice spread similarly enough that you’re susceptible to that, too.
So what did we learn today? Changing our underwear is right up there with our daily routines to drink water, eat and sleep.
